As Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles remarked, Martina McBride has one of the best voices in music -- not just in country, but in all genres. McBride practically floated as she sang her rendition of 'Please Come Home for Christmas' on the Dec. 1 'CMA Country Christmas' special, which we'd argue could be the performance of the evening.

Just before the performance, the proud mother of three sat on a living room couch with her beautiful daughters, chatting about Christmases past and the holiday music that her kids love to listen to, like the classic Frank Sinatra ... and Justin Bieber's new Christmas release.

Then, sporting a gorgeous burgundy evening gown, McBride unveiled the notable tune as if she had written it. She wore her signature glowing smile, too, as she sparkled among faux snow-covered trees and a backdrop of mock mountains.

Following the song, Nettles, who hosted the event, summed McBride's performance up best when she asked the audience, "Now how are we going to follow that?"
