Lady Antebellum Show Their Christmas Spirit in Funny New Video
Lady Antebellum couldn't let 2011 fade into 2012 without wishing their fans a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. In their latest webisode, which wraps up the first leg of their Own the Night Tour, Hillary Scott gives viewers some insight into what, exactly, the boys do on the bus while they're on the road -- and it may surprise you.
Despite having two engagements in the band this year, Lady A still managed to make a pretty big reveal in their behind-the-scenes video: Charles Kelley tucks in his bandmates at night with a bedtime story! Wrapped warmly in his robe, the male frontman takes his spot at the center of the Christmas lights-lit tour bus, prepared to read to his tourmates who are snuggled in their bunks, some sucking their thumbs.
As it is the holiday season, Kelley chooses an especially appropriate story, ''Twas the Night Before Christmas.' After reading the story, the Grammy-winning singer makes his rounds, saying goodnight to each of his buddies one by one, saving the best for last. When he gets to Dave Haywood -- who just announced that he is engaged -- he finds that he is already asleep. Or in Kelley's words, "He's all tuckered out."
If this video won't warm you up and get you in the spirit of the season, nothing will.
