Karen 'Gilly' Laney is a freelance writer, photographer and archivist. She co-authored 'Mick Ronson The Spider With The Platinum Hair' in 2003 and fully revised and updated the biography for its second publication in 2009. As former co-president of the David Bowie fan club 'Sons Of The Silent Age' she's spent most of her life working at music and book stores, promoting, collecting and writing about rock 'n' roll.
